I am learning Italian, guys! Learning it online. Just completed an introductory series offered by bbc.co.uk. I am finding it quite easy because I already know Spanish and French. What made me want to learn it was because of my job at the cruiseship dock. The season is about ended now and will restart in November. By that time, I want to be able to speak with the Italian passengers, giving them information and directions in their language. the other language that would be helpful is German, but I feel that would be a little harder for me. The four languages I would like to be fluent in are German, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese. For now, it seems the last two would be the easiest since I already know two latin languages.

:yahoo; well done, bien hecho, bene fatto, Gut gemacht, bien fait ...................... no I don't speak all those languages, I just looked them upon a free translation site :rofl; But good on you for making the effort, I'm sure you will be speaking Italian by the time the cruises start again. :2thumbsup;

That is not your real reason. There is some Italian guy in Las Vegas in October with your name on him! Right! I know I am right!

Good luck with your studies. My grandmother came from Italy, but the only Italian words I know are the curse words. :bandance;

Good for you Bajanne!
Diversity is a beautiful thing and it is reassuring when you are far from home to hear your native language, refreshed with a bit of a West Indies "twist".
