It's three A.M., you are in a deep sleep -- suddenly the fire alarm goes off . . .
As you run out of the house, what's the first thing you'd grab (excluding things that breathe)?
-
My purse.
Then the family tree plaque on the wall.
-
Purse with cellphone...
All important papers at the bank.. the rest is all replaceable
-
Family Bible from 1800's.
Music box brought from Germany in 1800's.
Photo albums.
Mom's wedding ring.
Dang it, Karol. I was never good with limits.
-
Wow, I really never thought about this. The kids and dogs, then ??? Maybe a photo album - and a wedding picture. And my purse with phone. Move the car out of the driveway. ... Good question. Huummm, I will think on this a bit.
-
my fire extinguisher

my fire extinguisher
:rofl; :2thumbsup; :rofl; :clap;
-
My cell phone and it's charger, and maybe quickly grab some clothes to wear :lol;
All in all, I'd be to concerned with getting out alive to worry about material possesions
-
fire batons
collection of pictures of barns
grandpa's violin
drum set
pepsi
ice
computer so I can rant on IHD
-
Meds (I did promise the surgeon!) & cell phone.
-
Shoes and a coat.
Hey, I live in northern Michigan - it's cold up here!
-
Kids and after they are safe I grab the chocolate.
-
Because we have had hurricanes, I have learned to keep irreplaceable things in one spot, where I can grap them quickly. And it is silly, but I always keep my purse and shoes together when I go to bed (even at a hotel). Makes you think twice about what is important and what isn't.
-
Hubby's artificial legs. They cost a mint and then some.
I would grab shoes and the bathrobe first. I sleep in the nude.
Then maybe the IMAC.
-
my nightgown, then make sure everyone else is up.... :)
-
My huband, son and the dogs, then I would grab my bra. My worst nightmare is for my boobs to be hanging while people are gathered all around (hey, I have a big chest!). :shy;
-
purse, cell phone, meds, wedding album, coat, shoes (and of course the husband and dogs, but you said excluding breathing things).
-
Apparently, and only because this has happened before - my Maritime training kicks in and throw on clothes over my pajamas and try to get to my muster station. Just ask mom - she was witness to that in Vegas!
