Hi all! I work as a clinic manger of a dialysis clinic in KY. I love dialysis patients, and I would like to make a difference in my patients lives. I have worked in dialysis for 10 years I have worked as a tech, charge nurse, and now manager. I have worked for a big name, a non profit, and now a small for profit company. I love this site and I have taken a lot in from it. Thank you.

Welcome to our community! We are glad that a worker in this field has decided to join us. Epoman's vision (our founder) is that this would be a place to give a voice to anyone and everyone in any way related to this renal challenge. Please post as much as you can - in the general sections as well as the section particularly for employees in the field. Looking forward to hearing much from you.

Welcome to ihatedialysis.com dialysisRN,
It's great to get the perspective from the health care provider. Thanks for all you do for your dialysis patients, I'm sure they appreciate having you to look over them. Please understand that you may read negative comments about certain health care/dialysis centers or their Doctors and others. That is what we are here for to hear the positives and the negatives.
Please read and post often.

I am in the lexington area. We do have an ice machiene, over size chairs that you can actually clean, and they are lightly colored so you can see blood. We have flat screen tv, pt lockers, huge tx floor with nsg station in middle of unit. I am lucky to have only experienced techs that I know. The company that I am with is new tto our area, and I think that they have the same outlook on pt care that I do. I could go on and on. I love my pts and I love the service that we are offering.

:welcomesign; It is so good to have you join us. I am sure you have lots to share. I lived in Lexington for a few years. Had my first son at St. Josephs Hospital. My husband worked at Bllue Grass Field. Lots of really good memories. It sounds like you have an excellent center. We all appreciate wonderful nurses. They are who we have the most contact with and know us the best. Thank you for caring about our community. :grouphug;
