The Columbine High School massacre occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado, near Denver and Littleton. Two teenage students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, carried out a shooting rampage, killing 12 fellow students and a teacher, as well as wounding 24 others, before committing suicide. It is considered to be the deadliest school shooting, and the second deadliest attack on a school in United States history after the Bath School disaster.

Post by: goofynina on July 06, 2006, 05:42:58 PM: What do can you say after seeing something like that? While me and my hubby sat here and watched, we were both speechless. God Bless all those kids, even the ones that survived, the trauma they must be going through. How does one ever get over something like that? I tell ya what, you never do, i was in a bank robbery back in '91 and i still havent gotten over it. I have gone into a bank maybe 3 times since and each time i just about fainted or died from anxiety. God Bless all you parents that have kids in schools, having to trust the fact that they are safe and a good thing I know there has been more and more schools hiring security guards and such to see that they are.

Post by: hephziba on July 13, 2006, 09:41:08 PM: I knew it wasn't the real thing, as it says so above the player but to think that anyone could have done that is still heart rending, and the person who decided to make a movie of it well, I hope it wasn't for the money. Imagine loosing your baby that way, I mean even at 15-16 22-50 they are still your babys, how many broken hearted brothers sisters fathers and mothers were created on that day.

I watched a film called Dawn Anna, this film had me in tears several times, especially at the end as her daughter was killed at columbine high school, :'(, also Flight 93, we rented it by accident they put the wrong disk in, but we watched it and it made me cry :'( .
