We are standing in line today after the fire drill rang for the school. One of my students says to me" Mrs. Soto, Look a squirrel."   I, of course, turned to look.  "April Fool!"
"Ya got me!" I told him.

I did a great April Fool's on my son, we are still laughing about it today.

B is 9 and was coming in from taking Lukey for his walk.  He's taking the leash off Lukey and I say "OH NO B, your school bus just left!".  B starts to panic and runs to the window yelling that it's way too early for the bus to come and how will he get to school.  I burst out with "April Fools" and start laughing my head off.  B falls down from relief and just cracks up.  He said, good one Mom! 

He tried to get me yesterday but couldn't.  This morning he was brushing his teeth and started cracking up.  I asked what was funny and he said he was remembering my April Fools prank yesterday. 

Gotta love kids!!      :bandance; ;D
