Post by: fishing4me on March 04, 2008, 07:54:55 PM: I was just reading on this site and thought it was wonderful. I've worked in dialysis all of my nursing life, 15+ years and love the patients and families. If it's not ok for nurses in dialysis to post here I'll just continue to read. :thx;

My daughter-in-law is a nurse and I see how involved she gets with her patients. It really takes a special person to become a nurse. Glad you found us. :thumbup;

We like to have everyone who has any relation whatsoever to this renal challenge (even those who might have none). You are so welcome as a dialysis worker, that we even have a place where you can vent and complain about patients. You see, we also have a section where we can complain (and do!) about workers.

It's good to have a mix of people on this site - from "both sides" as it were. I'm glad you like the patients and families... certainly I feel like most of the staff are part of my extended family - given you see so much of them it kind of is that way... luckily they are all very special people and I I'd be happy to know them even if I didn't have dialysis... one of the small positives of ESRD in my book!
