Does NxStage has a suggestion box for patients?
I have crashed three times, now, and the last time I wasn't able to get everything turned down in time to slow down my blood flow to open the saline connection to where I was slipping in and out of consciousness. Thankfully, my wife was there to take care of me and try to get the fluid back into me to get my blood pressure back up.
I think it would be a good feature to be able to hit or hold the "Add Fluid" button to where the machine would automatically zero out the UF and Dialysate and reduce the blood flow down to 200 so that the saline connection could be opened.
What does everyone think about that? Or any other suggestions that might be out there?

You don't have to slow it down to add saline - you can do that at any speed. At least that's what I was taught. Heck, if you want more fluid back - why make it slower? The faster, the better if you are low!

yep, with any machine, the only real reaosn they tell you to slow it down to 200 is than you don't get too much fluid, but if your crashing that much, BRING IT ON ! :cuddle;
