(If im in the wrong section please move!) I went to the supermarket today to do some shopping and when i got to the checkout i could see all the people staring down the shop. When i looked round i was so saddened to see a group of people round an old lady that had collapsed on the floor and despite workers trying to sheild her , 2 paramedics giving her cpr. I dont know why i felt so sad ? maybe the indignity of it all? Peole gossiping all around about her? She's probably someones mum or granny , it just looked so sad to see. It just shows how fragile life is , ill or not, but for some reason i felt really sad today.

Sorry you had to witness that. Sorry the Old lady had to go through it, hoping she was OK

that is sad, she must have been alone.

I think it's a normal reaction, when we witness death, or even something close to it, to feel sad. As you said, we're reminded how fragile life is. For the same reason, we feel joy when we hear about a birth.
Sorry you had to witness it.
