Title: Filmmaker looking for participants in documentary
Post by: okarol on February 12, 2008, 08:21:03 AM
-- Los Angeles based production company is seeking participants for a documentary about organ donation.  The award winning filmmakers are looking for people in Southern California who are currently waiting for an organ, and hope to find a living donor.  They are also looking for people anywhere in the US that plan to be a live organ donor.  If you are interested or know anyone that might be, please contact the filmmaker: Matt Radecki matt@dxdproductions.com --

My comment: I have spoken to Matt and have seen two of his recent films. It sounds like a great project.

I just sent him an email.  Thanks so much!  My brother is being admitted to the hospital for the remainder of his tests next Wednesday!  We should have all our answers by the end of Feb!

I received a real nice "rejection email" from this guy the other day.  Super nice.  He's looking mainly in California.  Plus, he is looking specifically for someone who is looking for a live donor, not someone like myself who already has a possible donor.

Thanks anyway!

Matt would still like to find more stories to follow. It doesn't have to be in California. If you're actively looking for a living donor he would like to include you in his documentary.
