Welcome oleboy to ihatedialysis.com,
It's great to have you here and I hope you continue to read and post often. Sorry we had to meet under these conditions. IHD has been a large portion of coping with ESRD for many people. It is great that you have a RN for a wife, call it fate or call it luck, but give her a big hug from the rest of us.

Welcome to our community, oleboy! But you are not so very 'ole', since i consider myself 58 years young! We are glad to welcome you into our IHD family. This site is tremendous when it comes to preparing you for what you are going to experience. You see, here there are people who have been through everything you can think of, where renal failure is concerned, and then some! so please take advantage of all the site has to offer. Read, read, read and post, post, post.
As someone has already said, encourage your wife to join us as well. We have a large group of caregivers and loved ones of renal patients here. This is a wonderful caring and sharing family. :grouphug;
