Title: Randy Pausch and "The Last Lecture"
Post by: Stacy Without An E on January 20, 2008, 09:42:57 PM
This was posted in the last couple days on a movie geek website that I check in on frequently and it's truly inspiring.

Randy Pausch was recently diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and has been given two to three months to live.  So he wanted to do what he dubbed "The Last Lecture" relating who had an impact on his life and what he's learned over the course of his forty seven years.

Yes, the video is 1:44 long.  And you need a good connection (DSL/cable modem) to watch it without skipping.  Or wait until it's fully loaded to watch.  But I must say, it is more entertaining and inspiring than a lot of the movies I watch at Dialysis.

And he doesn't mention or talk about cancer, except in passing.

I'm always searching for people to inspire me to fulfill my dreams.  Give the video a chance.  I think you'll be moved.
