I was sat watching tv when i started to feel peculiar, dizzy light headed then my heart started to race and i got a sharp pain in the back of my neck. My BP is and always has been very high , so might it be that? I have now got a GMT spray , so was ready to use it but i didnt get any chest pains ..phew .. It was more like i was really agitated or a sort of nervous feeling. After it passed i was left shaking for about 10 mins .. has anyone else had this happen? I felt fine afterwards and it lasted only minutes, but today i feel agitated again , no shakes or anything , just a feeling like im stressed (but im not stressed about anything , bored yes , stressed no !)

I sure would check with my Doctor about it, all I can relate is my Daughter had similar symptoms and it was eventually diagnosed as Hyperthyroid in her case (Thyroid all of a sudden would dump a Lot of hormones into the system and make the heart go wild)
Wishing you the best
Tom

Thanks , that is one thing i would never have thought of .

I remember I was diagnosed with the same symptom years back, my doctor said it was a sudden shoot up of blood pressure, the reason for the sudden pain in the neck or nape nerve. Please monitor your blood pressure and sugar.

The agitation could be blood sugar spike as well as the shakes. Adrenal glands could be malfunctioning as well.

Thanks guys ..i have mentioned that pain in my neck/head to the doc's before only to be met with a shrug of shoulders ..great! As an attempt to lower my bp i have done some extra dialysis as i did notice some fluid creeping up on my legs! The result today ....the legs of an anorexic and the hands of a wino !!!! :rofl; and still my bp hasnt come down!!!

Have you tried having a piece of raw garlic into your mouth, don't chew just let it stay. Never mind the odor, it realy lowers the blood pressure immediately. Lie down and wiggle your toes by yourself. Check the contraindications of all your medicines, surf the net with it, I did that with my Mother's medication and surprisingly some medications are not fit for her blood pressure. Pray you feel better.

Try the chiropractor for blood pressure relief. When mine is getting sky high I go and it comes down almost immediately.

Kickstart, hope your feeling ok now. I hate when things like that happen, i start diagnosing myself right away (which i know i shouldnt do) I just hate going to see the dr. for ANYTHING!!! lol, Take care and keep us posted please :) :cuddle;

Kitkatz ....chiropractor ? Could you give me more details on how this helps? its not something i have come across before ..interesting!

On me my neck tends to twist and as it twists in ties up the arteries going into my head. This raises the blood pressure on me. Also there are pressure points on the back/ spine that help to regulate the blood pressure.
