:yahoo; :bandance; I got to meet a member of IHD!! Yippee!! It was so wonderful to meet up with Livecam. Lilbajanne (Sam) and I picked him up at his cruise ship and took a mini-tour of one side of the island of Tortola. I didn't get to meet his family since they had gone on a snorkeling tour. He stayed back to meet us!!!!!
Added to that, I nearly burst into tears. He brought me something that I had been wishing for, and never expected to get for quite a while - Paul Potts CD! That was icing on the cake!!
I took him to see where I get dialysis (today wasn't my day).
He took pictures so you guys will get to see them when he shares them.
I LOVE MY IHD FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bajanne, I am so excited you got to meet Livecam! What a special group we are. It was great that Livecam made it a point to meet you and bring Paul Potts CD. Looking forward to pictures!

I had a wonderful visit with Aurora, Sam, and Christopher Thursday morning on Tortola. Aurora had sent an email saying that she would meet us at the boat but I never got it until after the visit. As it was my cellphone rang just as I was walking out onto Lido with Aurora saying that she and Sam were waiting by the gazebo at the end of the pier. I was walking fast toward the gazebo when Aurora called out my name. They had made it well up into the secure area next to the ship and I just about blew by them trying to make it to the gazebo fast. We had a great time touring her side of the island, visiting Christopher at his preschool, and then going up to Peebles Hospital for a tour of Aurora's dialysis unit. Aurora is a gracious hostess. If any of you plan to visit Tortola you must let her know! Here are a few pictures from that day.

Thank you so much, Jeff! We have beautiful memories of that short time together. I can't tell you how many times I have listened to the Paul Potts.
I am going to show Chris what silly pictures he took!
I am so glad that particular nurse was there when we went to my unit. She is the one that is perfect in putting in needles - the best in the unit. She is from the island of Dominica. We speak Creole (french island dialect) together from time to time, for the fun of it.
The Internet is a wonderful thing and my IHD family is super-wonderful!!!!!
You all heard Livecam! Come on down (or across, or up, or east, or west!)! Just come!

We had such a great time on that cruise. I think it was our 14th and definitely the best so far. Why? The ports and the people! Here are a few more pictures.

Thanks CW. It was just a little 5 megapixel Samsung. I have a DSLR and all the goodies but that system is pretty bulky and I seldom use it.

It is sure interesting! I am now working in the same gazebo through which we walked with Livecam!! I am working with the Tourist Board part time, and i am stationed at the cruiseship dock, as well as the airport.
So any of you coming on cruises, I wouldn't need a pass to be able to come and see you.

I don't know how I missed those photo's, they are just gorgeous and now I know I am jealous. I always wanted to go on a cruise but my wife has already been on one and did not like it.

It is sad on pg. 2 I noticed in Goofynina's comment she said she hope and pray that she would get to go there before she die.
That saddened me.
