so i just need to bitch a little....hmmm lets see were to start....ok....I WANT A DAMM KIDNEY...i am broke i cant afford to get to dialysis and eat see my kid who lives an hour away...i hate to take all of my pills....i feel like crap most days.....i guess i will stop there....

yeah i am on two lists....i am #3 on one of them ...just never seems to get any closer

Jonn R, I feel your pain. I too find myself in a position I never thought i would be in. But I know that things will work out. some time later, you will be looking back at this time and it will be only a memory.
I am glad that we have somewhere where we can rant when we need to and know that they are people who understand totally.

thanks everyone for the smiles.....you know its just hard to go from a 40+ a year job to 11,000 a year with 1200 a month worth of bills....it really is a shame that the gov makes it so hard to live.....to top it all off dhs lo ward my food stamps to 99 from 107 because my SS went up...you have to be kidding like i am getting rich here...and the sad part is they want you to eat rice and pasta on stamps but come on i am on dialysis those things retain up water......funny dont you think

Yeah, funny in that laugh-to-keep-from-screaming way. I hope that kidney comes through for you soon, and lasts a good long time. And in the meantime, keep ranting, keep pushing, keep on.

John, you are singing my song my friend, just remember, you are not alone, you have many friends here that are going through the same things that you are and we can relate to your feelings. One day at a time my friend, your day will come, afterall, you are #3, that is a good thing :) :bandance;

WOW! #3 and listed in 2 locations. I'm still trying to get on the list. I pray your wait will not be too long. As for finance. This is one of my biggest fear, especially after attending the 1st transplant education session. I'm still working full time 8-5 and I've been thinking about staying home, but afraid to loose my health benefits and income. I know we can survive off my husband's income alone, but I'm afraid of the "What If's". You never know when un-expected event will occur.
