Our family welcomed Miguel Elnathan Barker yesterday, Saturday 15th December. He is the first son of my nephew Kirk and his wife Nicole. My nephew is the son of my brother who died in Nov 2004 after 10 years on dialysis. My nephew is a Moravian pastor in the island of Antigua, and I got to meet his wife Nicole for the first time when I went to conference there in Oct. Lovely girl!
Yesterday was also another anniversary for me. It makes 14 years since my mastectomy. I am so grateful. My daugther was 10 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and now she is 24 and I have my Christopher 4 years old! Isn't that something to be grateful about!!

Congratulations. On December 15, my niece Karen gave birth to twin daughters, Mia and Mariah. Twin angels, just in time for Christmas. Not sure when I'll get to see them.
