Title: Hello fellow members of "I hate dialysis.com"

I sign up a while back and haven't posted anything yet so I guess I'll start here. At the age of nine I was diagnosis with "Wegener's Granulomatosis," which slowly damaged my kidneys. I started dialysis when I was sixteen years old and now I'm twenty five, I've been on the transplant list for over four years now, so my time is soon to come *cross fingers*
I also have diabetes but that was not the cause of my kidney failure and I'm completely blind in my left eye due to hypertension. Besides all that, I guess I'm a pretty normal and happy person :2thumbsup;

Nine years of experience is a lengthy time on dialysis, guess you could say you are a survivor. I'm sure you have plenty of stories that you will share at some point and I can't wait to read them. I'm glad you came back to introduce yourself. I hope to see you around more, remember you can post as often as you like.

Welcome to our community!  So glad you joined us. And we always have space for friendly people.  And here we have gone past friends; we have become family - loving, caring, sharing and supportive.  So we look forward to your input.  You have much to offer where your experiences are concerned.  The site also has lots to offer, information, a place to vent when you need to, people who will be with you through all that you have to experience, entertainment and jokes.  So take advantage of all the site has to offer.
