Title: Topical Chemotherapy
Post by: Rerun on December 07, 2007, 09:27:00 PM
Has anyone used Efudex to remove pre-cancerous cells from their skin?  My dermatologist perscribed it because my skin on my hands and forearms look so bad.  I put it on morning and night for 3 weeks (21 days for those of you in Rio Linda). And I guess the bad spots will get red and sore and come off.  She also gave me Hydrocortisone cream to use after the 3 weeks are up.

Anyway, just curious if anyone here had used this.                      8)

Thanks Rerun, that sounds great! I read about it here http://www.efudex.com/index.jspf - good to know - especially for transplant patients.

Rerun I hope the treatment works out for you. You must be a Rush fan I started listening to him when he was broadcasting from Sacramento in the 80's...Boxman
