Title: Cell phones and text messaging
Post by: okarol on November 30, 2007, 10:53:54 PM: I like using text messaging when making an actual call would be disruptive or inconvenient, but I prefer to actually TALK on the phone. My son is 12 and he sends and receives a lot of text messages every day. He rarely speaks to anyone - just tapping away - so when I saw this cartoon I had to laugh...

My daughter says I text like a 16 yr old girl! I am not a phone person--never liked to sit for hours talking. But, I can text 20 times a day with no problem!! My husband just doesn't get it--nor do most of my friends. It works great for me!
