(Besides new kidneys which I know a bunch of you want.) What would you really like to see under the tree with your name on it? Me I just want 2 things. A Wii and a remote car starter. If I have to pick one it would be the Wii, but then again I am sick of freezing my butt off every winter. No no no I wanna a Wii.
-
I can't think of one thing I want that I can realistically expect to get - a new house or new car won't fit under the tree, or into anyone's budget. I've got a few books I'd like to get, but the people who buy me gifts don't know which ones, so the best I can wish for is a gift certificate to Amazon, I think.
-
I have Best Buy gift cards #2 on the list so I can put a new stereo in the car my dad gave me. #1 of course is a donor for Otto
-
I asked the family for an on the counter ice maker.
-
Motorcycle repairs paid.
-
Gonna have to think on this one. A XBox 360 would be nice, but would gather more dust than being used and the expensive games hinders the real need for one. Hmm, I don't know what I want.
-
I have one thing on my list: Wii.
-
the only thing i really want is gift certificates to my local harley dealer. i just love chrome :bow;
-
I would like some Lakers tickets. And some cash to pay Sluff's motorcycle repair bill! :santahat;

What is Wii?

Sluff, I think it is some sort of video game machine, but not 100% sure...Boxman
-
It is a video game - but not a traditional one. Instead of sitting in place, pressing button on a pad, the game controller is motion sensitive. To play tennis, for example, you have to have enough room to move around and swing both forward and backhand strokes. For baseball, you have to make pitching motions and swing the controller just like a bat when it's your turn at the plate. Lots of fun, and you can actually work up a sweat playing a video game.
-
My family is playing Wii right now. They just got the new "guitar hero" . My house is rocking!
What do I want? As I get older, the list gets shorter. Paul Potts CD, Andre Boccelli CD, ------ a good nights sleep! Hmmm, I will have to think about this more.
-
I am really into books atm so maybe a gift certificate to Borders or Barnes & Noble, I would love a new car but ya thats a bit much lol.
-
What do I want under the tree?
I wish for my husband to come home from the hospital.
-
What is Wii?
A video system from Nintendo. It's totally awesome... you don't just sit there with a controller in your hands.. you actually act out what your wanting the game to do... IE. If you were playing bowling, and you were going to throw the ball, you would actually act like you were throwing the ball. The remote nunchuck senses motion.

2006 was a bad year-my husband spent most of it in the hospital- he did manage to make it home december 5th and then has stayed out of the hospital since then.I got my wish last year- I hope you get yours this year too!

I've been thinking about what to get for my sons 18 and 16. The 18 yo asked for a remote starter too Brenda!- I'm not even sure where to get one from or where to have it installed. I was told though that the best starters are the ones that are factory installed. I have one but haven't used it yet. It automatically turns on the air or heat depending on the temperature - not sure if an after-factory install would do the same thing?! I think a Wii would be cool. I could actually be exercising and not even know it!
My son has xbox 360 guitar hero. They were playing it last night and having a blast! You just gotta make sure that everyone picks a different song though :o
I am thinking of taking my mom to see the Transiberian Orchestra on 12/29. She went with her brother last year and absolutely loved it. I like to try and do/see something different once a year. I remember the first time was when the boys were 5 and 7. Took them to see the Nutcracker. Waited too long to get tickets and had to get balcony way high. They couldn't see, and couldn't get into just listening to music that long.
This is a good thread! I'm going to check back here for ideas.
Hey Oswald "it ain't cool if your chrome don't shine!" remember that commercial. I Loooovee shiny chrome!
Yes, but you asked what I wanted under my tree. Money to pay for college expenses for my kids. Uh oh, I did it again - for me? clothes and shoes. But, seriously, that my mom's levels don't get worse and she can put dialysis further down the road.

Amen.
That's my big wish too.
But if we have to go with material things -- Probably great clothes or shoes. Maybe a few Cast Recordings from some musicals... a pony? Okay. maybe not a pony.
-
... a pony? Okay. maybe not a pony.
:rofl; :rofl; :rofl;
I want a Golden Goose......
-
OK I couldn't stand it and I couldn't wait.....I went and bought me a Wii!! Merry Christmas to me!!
-
I really want a Wii but I am eyeing a pearl ring...lol...but the ultimate gift under the tree would be a clean floor that *I* didn't have to vacuum!!!!

I have had one Christmas gift already, my youngest daughter came home to visit. The other gift will be the oldest daughter coming home for Christmas! And she is coming!
-
I don't really want anything for Christmas this year except being able to get whats on the Wife & Daughters lists. :christmastree;
-
I want a red rider BB gun. :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;
There is nothing special I want. I just love the gifts my kids have given me in the past. My husband takes them shopping to get something for me. I have gotten containers of chocolate pudding, pringles and fruit snacks. Of course I share these treasures with the one that picked it out for me. :bandance;
-
I want one of those awesome front loading washer/dryer sets! The big ones on the pedestals! My regular washer is killing my back, and now fistula arm! My poor right arm has been working so hard lately!
I would also like a perfect match kidney - on ice!!!! ;D
-
I would like to have a green gas air-soft pistola or a paint-ball package which would include mask, helmet, and gun. O0
-
The way energy prices have been lately I think I would just like a big bag of coal that I could resell to the energy market when the prices go even higher. :)
-
Yea or a gallon of gas for the car...good idea!!! :2thumbsup;
-
I am glad to say there is nothing i want, i was talking with Sam in bed this morning and i am so happy with life as it is right now, even with my illness, having my family over my house and having them help me as much as they did, made me realize that my life is ok, i am ok and i am very happy and content with how it is now (i hope it dont get any worse though) What i do want though is for you all to get your wishes, your wants and your dreams fulfilled. Mine has, i got Sam and that is all i need for now. God Bless you all :grouphug;
-
So sweet! And I also hope things don't get worse!
You're the best!
-
Ya know, you guys are the only people who actually asked me what I wanted for Christmas! :cuddle; I would like a space heater or an eclectic blanket. Or some winter clothes. I barley have any to wear! I would also like to stop feeling like crap and sleeping all the time like I have lately!
-
I already got what I wanted for Christmas. :santahat; Len got a kidney and is out of the hospital. I feel blessed.
-
I really want it to be a peaceful, happy holiday. It was last year, just before Christmas, that I found out I probably had cancer and would lose both kidneys. It took some of the "Deck the Halls" right out of me. So as I hit the anniversary of all this, I want to feel good...have some fun...stay healthy...eat some crap...give some presents...and start the new year with fewer fears, tears and dread.
Oh. and my wife usually does some sexy pics of herself, so that'd be good too!!! :santahat;
