Got my monthly delivery of supplies today - only two cases of cartridges. That didn't look right to me - I was down to only one box. I e-mailed customer service to find out what happened and got this reply -
"You will be receiving 2 boxes of cartridges on 11/28. We are seeking to build up our inventory reserves to support further product demand. Splitting our monthly cartridge deliveries into two allows us to do this more quickly. "
Ooooookay - and thanks for the notice on that. :sarcasm;

Standard operating procedure is to have at least two weeks of supplies on hand when you get resupplied, as a general preparedness strategy. Best practices are that you should have at least two weeks of renal friendly food, medications and home dialysis supplies at all times. Just a good habit to get into.

I did get an email today from NxStage about the cartridge shipment being split up...I thought it was because the have to ship early to me since UPS isn't delivering the day after Thanksgiving, but if they want to go two cartons every two weeks, I'm good with that...it helps on my storage situation and I've already got just under 2 weeks worth of cartridges on hand.

We moved to a every 2 week shipment. Much easier for us. Also, the company that delivers will get a 1 month supply and works with me if I need more or less.
I like the every 2 weeks!
