Title: Small bump under scar
Post by: KT0930 on November 14, 2007, 05:16:55 AM
About a year ago I noticed a small bump under a portion of my most recent transplant scar. It's about the size of a pea, and was much more noticeable when I was about 20 pounds thinner. In fact, at that point, I was afraid to mess with it, because it seemed sharp enough to almost come through the skin, and if I sat a certain way, you could see it pushing against the skin. Now that I'm heavier, I can still feel it, but it's not as noticeable. It doesn't hurt at all, I'm just curious what it could be. Any thoughts?

Sounds like scar tissue to me.

Or an undissolved stitch. That would explain the sharp feeling. It happens sometimes.
