This Thursday Novermber 8th is the 6th anniversary of one of the most wonderful gifts I've ever received. It was 6 years ago that the magic call came and I was given the kidney that gave me my life back. We'll probably mark the day in the usual way. I like to treat a bunch of people at work to lunch on that day. Here at home we reflect on what happened but more quietly. That wonderful day has come for many others on this site and I pray that it will be coming soon for everyone who is waiting for theirs. When it happens for you, you'll remember it always.

What a neat thing to do for your co-workers, LC. I always had a special meal with my family on the anniversary of a functioning transplant.
