I did it I finally went and donated my hair for locks of love!!!! 12 inches off the sides and 15 in back!!!! Otto freaked he liked my long hair. I about fell over when they said it was a free haircut, they don't charge people who do locks of love :bandance;

Good for you Lola.  My 7 yr old grand daughter had hair down to her bottom. When my husband's sister died in May from breast cancer, Eliza told her Mommy and Daddy that she would like to donate her hair to Locks of Love so people like Aunt Liza could have pretty wigs.  Locks of Love sent her a thank you card and she is very proud of what she did.  Her hair is still past her shoulders and she would like to donate again in a year.  Post a picture so we can see the new haircut!   Now, you are a hero. We all need to do just one thing to help another and maybe it will come full circle back.

I posted on our caringbridge site about how good I felt after donating yesterday and if everyone did something good how much better our world would be. Of course I also had to throw in about how being a living donor would be amazing hehehe. Like I said before I'm on a mission to get you all transplants.  :cuddle;

Jenna's hair stylist recommended donating when Jenna got a haircut, so we sent it in - December 2005
