Title: Dallas player transplant donor
Post by: Ohio Buckeye on September 09, 2007, 07:09:22 PM
At the end of the Dallas halftime tonight Ron Springs who received a kidney
donated by a former teammate were both talking about the experience
and made a plea for live organ donations so peole won't have to wait on
the list so long.  very neat.  nice attention to the problem.

Good for him, we can sure use the publicity, even if only it got to one person, that is one more person that will at least think about it and help someone out  :clap;

Very cool!  Actually, Ron Springs and Everson Walls were honorary guests at the game tonight.  They were supposed to do something special at halftime.  Jerry Jones (Cowboys owner) is trying to raise awareness for organ donation.  I am very proud of my Cowboys.  Hopefully other teams will take notes and join in the effort.
