There is a new study that diet and exercise help you lose weight.   ;D

Just kidding......I read that in the paper today and busted up laughing!  But, it is true and we ALL know it.  Cut back on the chow line and exercise.  Not that I do it, but at least I know what to do.   :-\

Jasper, just go on Haemo! ;D

I found it hard to lose weight whilst on CAPD.  As you know the PD bags have a lot of Glucose in them. All you can do is cut down on the sweets, plus try to exercise. I went for the exercise, walking up to 10miles a day. Used to feel great walking over the hills, down by the river around clowbridge res. Now all I can do is look out of the window of the car, since I got put back onto Haemo. But still not as heavy as when on CAPD.

I lost over 20kgs while on PD. Mainly because I was so sick I ate less than a rabbit. It would be hard considering all the glucose you get in the bags. My dietition told me how many calories there were, and it was just a rediculous amount. Cant remember exact amount.
