There is a young woman I have gotten to know through CaringBridge named Stephane. She is the same age as Jenna and is having a very tough time right now. This is from her CB page:
“Stephane was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in April 2005. She had one year of extensive chemo and was in remission. In September her cancer returned. She is now having chemo to try to get her in remission. Stephane has a long road ahead of her.
Please keep Steph in your prayers. Pray for her strength to get through the next couple days. Pray for discouragement to stay out of her heart. Pray for her to be surrounded by people who will lift her spirits and bring out her special gift of laughter and humor.
Pray for a cure for her and all the other families that have been held hostage by this miserable blight called cancer.”
Please say a special prayer for Stephane and her family today, and sign her guestbook if you can.

What can one say. I signed her guestbook, but it seems insignificant, what can you really say that is going to help. Very beautiful young lady.

I have been keeping tabs on Steph and my heart just breaks :'( :'(

I just went to her Caringbridge page and as of this morning, she is no longer suffering. Somedays I just don't understand the "why" of things. It should have been me--I have had a good life and she didn't even get a chance to begin her adult life. Prayers for her family during this time.

She was too alert a few days ago.
