Title: European Ecstasy and Agony

This is a sign on the back of the waitresses' T-shirts at an Italian restaurant here in our town.  They use the words 'heaven' and 'hell', but I don't like to use them like that so I substitute 'ecstasy' and 'agony'

Ecstasy is when your police are British, your mechanics are German, your cooks are Italian, your lovers are French and it is all organized by the Swiss.

Agony is when your cooks are British, your police are German, your mechanics are French, your lovers are Swiss and it is all organized by the Italians.
