It has come to our attention that we have lost another member.
R.I.P. LeafSunBear
This is the last three entries in his blog site.
Entry for July 08, 2007
Levin Passed at 4:44AM this morning while I was holding him. He was in peace and never showed signs of distress.
Entry for July 04, 2007
Unfortunatly things have not worked out for Levin. We have brought him home under a hospice program. His last day of dialysis was Monday. All of his lines have been removed, except a drain bag coming out of his stomach, to make him as comfortable as possible in his last days. It is only a matter of time. He is surrounded by family and loved ones. Thank You for all your prayers and friendship. Sean
Entry for June 05, 2007
Since the last time I blogged , I have been in the hospital pretty much the whole time. I have been through a lot . A lot of pain, a lot confusion, a lot fear. The pain meds have made me hallucinate, and they haven't been good. I have pushed through, and it has been hard. I have wanted to give up, but I have been surround by friends and family. Thank you for following my story. It is difficult to post and had help to do this. I hope soon I will be back posting dumb things that I do during the day
Thank you Black for informing us.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Very sad news. I remember LSB's intro; he lived a very interesting life for such a young man. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I've just finished reading his blog.
What an amazing person. His family, Friends and IHD were privileged to have known him, even if it was just for a short time.

Glad I could help. I felt he was such an important member of the dialysis community everyone should be aware of the great loss. His patience in replying to and posting information for the newbies on several forums was so very kind. We sometimes forget how scared we were in the beginning and he was so empathetic. I'm sure he brought comfort and peace to many, and thanks to places like this he will continue to do so for a long time. Death has stolen another intelligent and kind voice of experience but we were lucky to have him for a while. He was an extraordinary person and will be greatly missed by many.
