Title: Fluidy lump on my shoulder???
Post by: Falkenbach on July 02, 2007, 10:48:17 PM
I've just felt a large, fluid-y lump on my shoulder, right next to my neck, on the right hand side. Is this just a fluid build up, do you think? (Had transplant 5 weeks ago). I'm sitting here drinking away at my water bottle, as usual. I've probably only had about 1 litre so far today, maybe slightly more. It's 3:00 in the afternoon.

Is this a normal thing?

I don't know how normal it would be, I don't have one. I would have it checked, my Mother had that for awhile and ignored it until she found out she had cancer. Now don't go off the deep end CB but getter checked. K

It's okay, apparently it's caused by the prednisolone. It's on both sides now, the doctor said they are referred to as "buffalo humps"  :rofl; and they will go down as my dose gets decreased.

This could put a whole new meaning to that stupid Black Eyed Peas song "My Humps" - couldn't it?  :D  :D  :D
