A young lady at work has been keeping me up to date for several years on her dad who was a dialysis patient locally. She stopped me in the hall today to say that her dad received a cadaveric transplant here in Los Angeles on May 18th and that he's doing great!
What a great story! This is the kind of news that always puts a smile on my face!
He's 63 years old, he's off the machine, and he has his life back.
What could be better? :clap; :thumbup; :thumbup; :clap;

Good for him. Hope he can enjoy the rest of his life with his new kidney. :thumbup;
