SOMEWHERE.....I have read about a clip that holds your drainage tube to the side of the toilet. I can not remember where I saw these, and have searched everywhere......Help! :yahoo;

You could probably alter one of those toilet cleaner packs that is hooked onto the toilet.

Sorry Nan, never heard of it or seen it but i'll keep alookin ;)

The toilet clips are available from Stickman industries. They are called genia clips, and cost $6 US. Can be ordered on line.

Nan,
Glad you found the site. It sometimes seems to take a long time to get the order. If you want to try a clip before they arrive, let me know as I have a new one that I no longer need.
I am doing well from my transplant, just need my hemoglobin to get higher so I have more energy. Aranesp does not seem to be working very well right now. They tell me it should get better after I can stop one of my drugs (Valcyte).
Hope PD is still going well for you.

Our dialysis center has a patient's husband making free clips - he takes the PD plastic tube holder and adds wire to the sides to hold it on the toilet under the seat - so the tube is held by the same blue thing the PD "set" uses to hold the tubes. Probably not explaining it well. Basically, the plastic blue piece you usually throw away is modified with wire and it works. We still have to put tape on it to make sure it stays, but it does the trick. FYI.
