I don't know if this is kidney or diabetes related. It's only started recently for me.
I have become hypersensitive to any type of pressure on my body. The BP cuff is torture. When I go for manicures and pedicures I can't handle even a light massage of my hands and legs. It's super painful.
Anyone else have this?

Chicken Little, I experience discomfort on the tops of my hands from the slightest touch or rubbing. So sorry yours are super painful! :cuddle; Anja

Thanks. I'm fine, as long as no one touches me. ;D
I do wonder what causes this though. ???

I don't find it painful, but in recent times I've found I just dislike being touched. It feels uncomfortable, and sometimes ticklish.
My husband occasionally strokes my hair back off my forehead - I could never tell him to stop, that would sound so mean and awful when all he's doing is showing some affection! But I actually do not like it.

There are time when touching me sets my teeth on edge and I cannot have it!

I hate having my hands, legs and feet touched, it is sooo painful. But that is because of neuropathy. :boxing;

Thats interesting , i have found sometimes my skin feels sore to the touch. Its almost as if i expect to see bruising , thats how it feels , but nothing is there , then other times i am fine .

Not that you need something else to worry about, but I think that is a symptom of fibromyalgia as well as neuropathy. Something to ask the Doc about. :cuddle;

My ankles have become sensitive not to touch but to blunt force and a certain amount of pressure. I've run into things and been kicked there by a child (mine) on occassion and it is pain city. This probably has something to do with the fact that they've been swollen and then the exact opposite many times over the years. There aren't any unusual sensitivities anywhere else.
