Hi all, I hope you are all as well as can be. Last week I could not get the venous Button Hole in. Nurse not either. So new BH created but not established yet (as in,I tried a blunt yesterday, but no go) I really don’t like being dependent on the nurse, so today I tried the old venous BH, and no probs. :cheer:
So, can I (try to) use both venous sites at intervals?
Thanx already, love, Cas

Cassandra, that's good that you got the old BH working again. If I'm remembering correctly, it usually takes about 5 sticks to establish a new one. I'm learning how to use an iPhone for the first time in my life and haven't figured out how to attach/send links (sorry), but if you search for "Stuart Mott, LVN" you should be able to see all his websites about buttonholes (I think he's the one who invented them). I hope your BH continues to go well for you. I am so glad to see you here and still plugging away with home hemo. You are a very smart, confident and positive woman and I've always admired that in you. Be well, my friend, you are absolutely a bright light in this world! -Debra fka Primetimer
