It is about

An ancient map leads Grey, a photographic archaeologist, to head and partially fund an expedition that everyone else in her field thinks is crazy. Despite threats made against her, Grey heads out with her team into the wilds of Katz Island. Will her adventures lead her to a new discovery that will change her planet’s settlement history or will the expedition end in failure?
