Title: Campaign for Elizabeth Warren's plan #62
Post by: plugger on November 23, 2019, 09:46:25 AM
Decided to start a "Campaign for Senator Warren's plan #62 (https://www.elizabeth-warren-for-president.us/index.php/56-campaign-for-senator-warren-s-plan-62)" today (what the hey, can only give it a shot right?)!  I started the site you will see after I became a little irritated after some of the press Senator Warren has been getting.  Then it hit me, I don't see a plan for THIS!!!

When we have a Democratic president after 2020 - sorry Rerun, I'm just messing with you!  You are one of a handful of Republicans I still like!  (I kind of still like my Republican brother).  Anyway, maybe a better plan could be implemented than what we are seeing so far!

As for the rest of Senator Warren's plans, feel free to come on the site's Soapbox forum and knock them if you like, but let's make this plan UNKNOCKABLE!!!!

I am moving this the political section.

I am thoroughly disgusted by what is happening in Washington D.C. at this time.

Let the debate begin.

Does sound more appropriate.  Thanks Kitkatz!

Today, I didn't come here to debate so much - I'll save that for my new site!  I'm more here to offer a suggestion, maybe a challenge to the other side!  As I've written, I'm working with Team Warren on another plan!  But I wouldn't be heartbroken if the Republicans came up with a good bill (good as in the experts I mentioned in this article (https://www.elizabeth-warren-for-president.us/index.php/56-campaign-for-senator-warren-s-plan-62)  like it).  What gave me hope?  I've been reading Tom Mueller's "Crisis of Conscience: Whistleblowing in an Age of Fraud".  In it he mentioned someone I'm familiar with, Republican Senator Chuck Grassley - starting on page 22.  I'll just say I haven't been a fan of his after the  U.S. Senate 2000 hearings (https://www.dialysisethics2.org/index.php/us-senate-testimony) where I believe he headed up the hearings - not much happened after that.  But in the book it looked like he significantly revived the False Claims Act which has been instrumental in rooting out corruption by enabling whistleblowers.  So hope for Senator Grassley has been revived after all these years!  He is 86 years old and maybe he might want to tie up any loose ends he has - and he is more familiar with dialysis than many!  So if there are any Iowans out there - talk to your Senator!  But if a wildcard came in from somewhere else, who am I to complain?

Oh, by the way!  There is a mighty fine interview with Mr. Mueller and Queen Arlene from Dialysis Advocates here (https://www.blogtalkradio.com/marti-oakley/2019/10/25/ts-radio-network-whistleblowers-tom-mueller-and-arlene-mullin).  The moniker "Queen Arlene" was given to Ms. Mullin by a friend of hers, Chili Most.  I've never had the honor of meeting him but I hope someday I will.  Anyway, forgive an old man for rambling.

P.S. In the old days Arlene was known as the 'Chili Queen' - one last ramble.

I love Elizabeth Warren.  I saw her speak, in person, twice.  Both times were at Netroots Nation conference.  The first was in Atlanta in 2017 and the second was in Philadelphia in 2019.  I also saw her keynote for this years virtual Netroots Nation conference.  I'm hoping that when Joe Biden becomes president, she is given a cabinet post.

While I am certain Senator Warren would make a great treasury secretary. Remember the Massachusetts governor is a republican and if she was appointed a republican would get her senate seat.  The senate is in play and the democrats need every seat to have a chance. Because if the dems hold house and senate the would effectively block trump if he is re-elected.

I like her too.

This is her last post on Twitter.

This will be a difficult holiday season—but it will be even more difficult if we don’t get this latest surge under control."

You don't know how things are done in the DPRM (Democratik People's Republik of MA)

To put it simply, the Ds dominate the state legislature and will do whatever it takes to maintain power for their party.    To expect them to do otherwise would be like asking the R administration to voluntarily hand a SCOTUS seat over to the Ds.

Power rarely, if ever, is voluntarily ceeded.

Typical politicians. I never heard about anyone who wants to give up the power. What is it about power anyway if it will corrupt your soul.

Thought I would drop by and mention I was disappointed when someone who I thought was the best candidate of my generation wound up getting knocked out of the presidential race.  However I'll also mention she got knocked down, but not totally out of it all: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2021/03/how-elizabeth-warrens-acolytes-infiltrated-bidenworld/ (https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2021/03/how-elizabeth-warrens-acolytes-infiltrated-bidenworld/)
