Hello. I am finally on this board after trying several times over the past few years.
I was struck down in the prime of my life with dialysis 9 years and 3 months ago. Been on PD ever since in California.
Since that day, I have been increasingly cynical about this condition and the "treatment/coverage" for it. My sarcasm has also increased. :sarcasm;
I've also gotten, as a result of dialysis, Guillan-Barre, neropathy, hernia, very slow metabolism and a double bypass.
I won't get into what I've lost because that could go on for a while.
Since I've been on dialysis, everything falls on the floor.

You're a pro lurker by now, so you know how this all works.
We welcome you, we offer support, we offer advice, and we offer experience. We also offer condolences that you even have to look at this place.
Sarcasm works well here, btw.
