Title: Your insights about new technology
Post by: iganepro on November 08, 2017, 04:53:53 PM
Hey Guys,

I am checking some latest news about artificial kidneys and wearable dialysis , which may be available by 2020. Do you think this going to be a life changer? :bandance; :thumbup;

Thanks

Yes, but I think it will not be out as early as 2020.

Also, there is a huge difference between when something starts to become available, and when a patient without the right connections, and who pays the Medicare rate, can get it.

 :thumbdown;  I got a new dialysis machine from Baxter.  It takes too long.  It also asks for your weight while you're still hooked up.  How are you supposed to get an accurate reading when you're hooked up?  Stupid engineers.
