I am wondering about the home set up, do you have your own table next to a regular recliner (like at the center the little table folds up and down)? Saw that someone mentioned building something ?? And how close do you need to be to the sink? I want to set it up in my bedroom - can you put the whole container on casters?

I don't have casters on my machine. I have it in my TV room. What I did do was go to an Auto store and buy an oil drip pan and I set it on the - I have had 2 leaks so far and the pan caught some of the fluid. As for the sink. The hose provided is pretty long. My bathroom is on the otherside of my TV room wall so I just ran it out the door. What will put you into shock is when your first delivery arrives - make sure you have plenty of storage room for all the stuff. I use Pureflow SAC's I get 3 treatments per SAC - 6 days. Beats hanging bags. Get a routine - and try to stick to it.
We do have a table and use it to setup the needles heprin etc. I also have a plastic set of 3 drawers we bought from WalMart - that has most of the other supplies I use - band aids - pads, needles- masks - gloves etc
Good Luck
Don :2thumbsup;

Don, thanks for the reply. I did check out the ilovenxstage site, and found it helpful. I guess I will find more answers once I start. Just a little anxious I guess!!

I've never seen those photos before, thanks for sharing! EpoMan's chair looks much more comfortable than mine. When I first went on NxStage I was given a new chair (the kind they have in the units) with it. I think I was just inspired to look into a real recliner though! ;)

If they offer that plastic chair I think I will burn it! :banghead;

The water line that is provided is 40 feet long. They also gave me plenty of faucet adapters but none worked on my faucet so I am going to have an under sink connection installed. I am also fighting to get my insurance company to pay for a dialysis chair. Good luck!

Good luck with the chair, if you get them to pay anything for it, I wanna hear about it!!
