With great sadness I share the news of the passing of Ninanna 13' September 2014. I'll ask admin to move some posts to this thread concerning this.
So sad.

"At least some good can come of this for future patients".
-Ninanna (see her last post dated September 08, 2014)
That is why I had read her posts. Seemed that despite challenges and no matter what was to become of it, she put herself out there to help others. She sweetened our little part of the world here. Rest in peace, Ninnana.

I was so looking forward to hearing of her getting better.
I am at a loss for words at learning of her passing. She held such great promise. For everyone.
Ninanna will be missed.

That news makes me very sad. I found her obituary at http://www.ottumwaeveningpost.com/9437/89872/a/obituaries-holly-carroll
I hope it's OK to post it here. I was able to find it on a public source very easily, so it puts my mind at ease about sharing it (considering her family's privacy).

Thank you for posting, Deanne. It is appropriate and appreciated. Holly was an amazing young woman and sadly, her story highlights the randomness of Life. Former IHDer, Cariad, went through the same procedure and to the best of my knowledge is still doing extremely well. Holly and her family will be in my prayers. I also hope others on here will consider making a donation to the Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland so Holly's family will know she had the support and love of her "cyber" family.

Thanks PatDowns. I'm reporting to moderator so they will consider adding a tribute for her and maybe moving her obit to it. The information that the medical community gained from her participation in this study will hopefully save others. I think that deserves a great deal of recognition.

Hi inga,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Ninanna passed away shortly after her last post. I really didn't want to say anything here out of respect for her familiy's privacy (who may not know about an account here) but I learned through social media. I'm really sorry.
Thank you for letting us know, UT. Ninanna had such a positive impact on here. While so frustrating and sad to learn she passed away, at least there is an opportunity for those who deeply cared about her to have closure.

I am so very sad to hear of her passing and am so grateful that you told us, UT.

I'm very sorry too, and thank you for saying it.
:grouphug; :grouphug; :grouphug;
Lots of love and strength to all who got to care for Ninanna.

Oh man, I was just thinking of her last week and how she hadn't posted it so long and wondering how she was doing. This is just terrible. I am so sorry to hear this.
