Title: NxStage Fiter question

For the second time during treatment, I noted a collection of a white puffy substance in the top of the Nxstage filter. I thought it looked like some of the filter material was breaking down and collecting in the top of the filter. When I called Nxstage they said it was probably a biologic but did not indicate what it might be. Has anyone else ever had this happen to a Nxstage filter? And does anyone have any suggestions about what might be happening?

Maybe it's triglycerides. Definitely bring this up with your Neph or nurse, maybe they can test you for it. I answered you over in the NxStage Users section.
