I start training on Liberty Cycler tomorrow morning. Nervous but looking forward to it. I don't sleep much at night so I guess I'll log a lot of computer time. Hoping you folks can give me insight to how this thing works, what to expect. Also how to prepare.

I do not know anything about Liberty but in general: wea comfy clothes, keep an open mind, know that the strange and confusing stuff will seem easy in a few days or weeks.
Relax tonight. You can do this. :cuddle;

PAY ATTENTION.
You will learn it is of critical importance to keep your face covered (mask) Hands not just clean but almost sterile. Same with your port and site.
Failure of any of these can lead to a serious LIFE-THREATENING abdominal infection.
It's not a problem. Your PD Nurse will cover these things until you can practically do it all blindfolded. That's almost, I wouldn't actually try it, but I' almost ready to bet I could. Almost, N'ah, not worth the risk.

Thanks guys. I am a quick learner and follow directions, but also a creature of habit. Not comfortable with changing routines so this should be an adventure.

Before too long what you learn will become habit for you. Like Charlie said.....I could possibly connect blindfolded as it has become so routine. REMEMBER even if it becomes routine to always keep everything clean and as sterile as possible when connecting/disconnecting. I live in an old farmhouse so its obvious its nothing like a sterile setting but the room I use and the area where my machine are is as clean as you can get for my house. My advise to you.......learn repeat learn repeat and then maybe you can connect blindfolded and let Charlie and I know how it turned out :rofl;
