Title: Kitkatz is 17 now.

Yes, folks, I made it to 17 years on hemodialysis.  I have celebrated by bringing a cake to dialysis and sharing with the other patients.
It has been full of ups and downs  and craziness, but here I am still kicking.
Maybe it is because I really am too dumb to know any better.
I appreciate all of the members on IHD.com forums who have supported me and become my friends.

Seventeen years on hemodialysis!
... I do hope your transplant-work-up goes well and I keep my fingers crossed for you!

I stand in awe of anyone who has done 17 years of dialysis,  you do important work here so I am glad that you have reached this milestone.

As someone who has barely survived 17 hemo treatments-- let alone 17 YEARS of them-- I can hardly even imagine this feat.  Congratulations are certainly due. :clap;
