Title: Angioplasty
Post by: cchalk11 on October 17, 2015, 06:20:52 PM
After I had angioplasty done on my fistula I noticed that my thrill has disappeared and I can't hear it with my stethoscope. Has anyone else had this problem?

I would see the vascular surgeon as soon as possible.

Go to the emergency room. They may be able to help.

Call your clinic and talk to the RN on duty.  Ask what their policy is for when they notice this when a patient is at the center for a treatment.

I called the on call Dr and he told me I probably will have to have the procedure done again. He said skip my session Monday and go back to the surgeon instead. Boy it's been a rough week but I gotta do what I gotta do. It sucks, the procedure isn't fun.
