Baxter called me twice saying I'd get a new machine between 3PM and 5PM. It's 5:15PM and I'm still waiting for the delivery guy to call me. I called Baxter, and the dispatcher supposedly called him. It's understandable that they might get behind, but it's rude not to call and say
you'll be late. Doesn't Baxter teach their employees anything? Are the employees so overworked they can't keep up? Why does Baxter's service seem to get worse over time?

Baxter's delivery driver finally called me at 5:45PM. He lied. He said he was scheduled to be here between 3PM and 5:50PM. I can understand someone being late because of traffic, but I expect them to call if they're not going to be on time. I going to make sure the guy that runs our kidney center knows about this. They're probably stuck with Baxter. I read bad things about the other company as well. It's like patients can't win with these people.

Don't even get me started with Baxter, or deliveries. They will only tell us a day they will deliver and expect someone to be home the entire day - no thanks, we pick up our own supplies.
This last order, I ordered two filters (the AK96 model has a filter that needs to be changed every three months). So I thought have one and one as a back up. They sent me 2 cases. 20 in each case. I now have a ten year supply. You'd think someone at the company before shipping that out would clue in they made a mistake.

And, if they have similar policies to Fresenius, they can't take a return (except for disposal) once the product has been in a patient's home.
