:thumbdown; Baxter will not set up cruise supplies for periodontal dialysis due to the demand on their system.

Follow the money.
Baxter has been buying PD supplies form Fresenius (not sure if this is still going on), so there is a cost premium, not to mention the logistical cost of going from Fresenius to Baxter to the dock.
I hope they let everyone know proactively so nobody would book a cruise thinking they would be taken care of.

I spoke to a nurse about the Fresenius deal and she said that it is only for manual bags. Their cycler bags are different and would require adapters.
However, Baxter has been given permission to import solution from certain foreign countries. I'm not sure when that will begin or when we'll see the impact.
Regarding the cruise restriction, the letter stated that orders placed prior to Oct. 1 would be fulfilled, but nothing after that time.

If there is an extra cost why not tell people and they can choose to private pay the extra expense.
