Hi can anyone give me any info on this they say i might have it , hope not . My head left side back , left side of the face is sore to the touch the last 2 weeks , last week i was at the dentist told her , while i was talking to her and she said sounds like trigeminal neuralgia but to get the doc to check it out will know tomorrow as she sent a blood sample to the clinic lab on sat for me i cant even sleep with my head on a pillow as my face is sore to the touch of the pillow and same with shaving. Also the hike i was to do on the 24thmay didnt go ahead as i switched my dialysis days so i could get treatment fri the day before the hike , stupid me to plan anything had a really rough day on the fri low blood pressure , sick , dizzy , light headed tingles all over me and the good old cramps so spent fri sat sun in bed so peed of missing it training for 6 months for it, i hate this illnesss and all that comes with it, sorry for the long letrter i do hope all of yous are well bye for now and thanks for reading this. :thumbup;

If its trigeminal neuralgia, the treatment of choice is Carbamezepine (Tegretol) pills. They work well for this.
The other possibility is shingles.
