Hi,
I'm Joe, male, 55. From eastern Massachusetts. I just started PD dialysis. I've had many years of a slow decline in energy. Finally, after a parathyroidectamy (calcium out of control due to failing kidneys, so the parathyroids had to come out), I was put on peritoneal dialysis. After a rough start, I now seem to be tolerating it very well.
I look forward to learning from the group and sharing what I've learned.

Thank you for all you kind welcomes.
I'm glad to be on PD as opposed to Hemo. It is working out really well. I would recommend it to anyone who can take charge of their own care.
