Title: Wayne McKinstry - intro
Post by: waynefmckinstry on March 30, 2014, 12:53:47 PM
Hello.  My wife started dialysis last July.  She also has Multiple Myeloma, which caused the kidney failure.

I try to take care of everything, which is not easy.  I'm up to my lower lip, so don't anyone make any ripples.  :P

Until a pebble is tossed into the pond to create ripples, one never knows, the full story.  :oops;

So waynefmckinstry, I say  :welcomesign;  , and here is the pebble tossed into the pond of life, may blessings of answers cross your path.  :flower;

Illness and dialysis can place quite a strain on a relationship.  It can get very difficult to deal with the pressure of caring for another.

You are not alone.  Many here are the supportive partner of a dialysis patient so don't be afraid to vent.  You need an outlet for your frustrations.  We are here to listen, and if anyone has been in a similar situation, they may chime in with what they did or what they used to help them during their crisis.

Hopefully you will come back here often and browse thru the forums. You may find help, and if all else fails, just post and ask questions.

Glad to see that you found us.

Take Care,

Charlie B
