I need help. I'm scared as hell. I don't know what to do. I made a complaint against my nurse at a Davita clinic back in October, I called guest services. Since then Davita has pretty much refused to treat me and they have retaliated against me. My hempglobin was already low in October at 9.6. Today it's 8.0 and I feel worse than ever. They are refusing to give me my epo shots even though my wife in trained in administrating the shots to me. They've completely left me hanging for months. I haven't been treated by a PD nurse or even seen since early November!
Today I get a call from some lady at guest services telling me Davita won't treat me and she won't give me an answer why. She just said the doctors won't accept me. She said she is just the middle man and she can't do anything else. My PD is going fine. I've been doing great on it. No infections and I do very well. Is my life really going to end over this? And I'm going to die because I made a complaint against my nurse? I can't believe this is happening. Where do I go from here? Do I just prepare to die? At this point Davita is hell-bent on black balling me from all local dialysis clinics in my area. I have to have my medical records so I'm sure nobody else will accept me either. I'm scared for my life.
If you are a Divita patient, DON'T EVER MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT! Don't do it. It's not worth going through what I'm now going through. I regret it every single day.
