Title: PD belts

Who had experience using PD catheter belts?  What has worked best for you?  I'm on the round side and am wondering what would work best.

I used the ones from Stickman and really liked them.

Being a female, I s;ide it under my bra and tuck the end into the cup., but you guys have to rethink that method......

I ordered one from stickman, but thought I might try it before ordering more.  Don't think the bra idea will work for me...lol.

I use the shirts from carriage-house. I use them as an undershirt. I feel secure with it and it isn't uncomfortable.

Here is the one I used http://www.fstubbs.com/pdbelt/pd_belt.htm and it worked better than the other one I had that was maybe Stickman. If I could afford it I would include it in my ESRD support bags that I provide free to dialysis patients through my Foundation. Unfortunately, they are a bit costly. For patients; however, they are covered under Medicare.

I use the Secure Way. I am a round shape also and have tried a couple of belts that didn't work for me. You can find it at secureway.org.

Thanks for the input!  I've ordered things from several different places to see what works best.  I'm waiting for my tee shirts to arrive and have high hopes that they will work out.  I started PD manually about two weeks ago.  Seems to be going ok, but hoping  to feel better over time than I do now.  My exit site is still a little red, but doesn't seem to be infected.  Hoping for the best...what else can we do?

FYI @Fisherman without PD I would not have lived long enough to receive a transplant. I will mention that there was SEVERE UNBELIEVABLE pain that was caused by scar tissue. I had to go off PD twice because of peritonitis. It makes a huge difference in your ability to live a "normal" life. Let me know if my Foundation can help in anyway. Stubbs' belt looks like an improvement.  I got 3 for $63 (include S/H).   I just brought 3 more stickman's, but these look better.

You can also consider getting bandeau top (bra) instead, it's a lot cheaper, that's what the nurse gave my mil to wear.  I think I saw them on amazon for under $4 each.  She liked it so far...
